Have tissues near by if you are stuffed up from a cold or flu. Notes: This delicious and spicy tea can be drunk with a bit of honey in it after it cools down to pack a powerful punch to a cold or flu. Add the fermented honey garlic to it, that was in last weeks enewsletter, and you are sure to perk right up! It can also be drunk chilled in the fridge on a hot day! Drink up to six cups in a row to stimulate you digestion and get those bowels moving! -This recipe was gifted to me by Chris, the owner of Jim’s Grill on Irving Park and Southport in Wrigleyville Chicago. Jim’s grill was next door to my house. It was a Korean BBQ. I loved Chris’s bi bim bop, plumb sauce, and vegetable pancakes. Chris was from Korea and so was this recipe. One freezing afternoon I went to get some delicious bi bim bop, plumb sauce, and vegetable pancakes to take home because I was extremely sick. I was taking all the regular drugstore stuff you are told to take for a bad bad cold. It was not helping. At that point I do not think I was able to talk much, was coughing violently, and could not breathe. Long story short she had this tea on hand, poured me and 24 ounce cup of it, and told me to drink it. Then put some tissues next to me. Congestion started pouring out of my head. She forced me to finish it there, poured me another cup and forced me to finish the second cup. With in 24 hours I was back on my feet- literally dancing!
